Честный знак (Honest Sign) is the government-mandated product marking and traceability system for Russia and the EAEU. Every product unit, every stack and every pallet receives a unique Data Matrix code that is scanned at every step — from manufacturer to final sale.
Three levels of marking
Product unit
Every unit gets a label with a unique Honest Sign that identifies exactly that product.
Stack (package)
Every stack gets its own Honest Sign that contains information about exactly which unit Honest Signs are inside that stack.
Pallet
The pallet gets a third type of Honest Sign — it specifies exactly which stacks and which units are on that pallet.
Sequence is critical
